I am looking at purchasing a Case 14B loader, with 10,00 hours on it, good condition. Does any one have a comment on this loader good or bad, what's your experience. Should I pass and buy a differnet make. Any suggestions? The loader has to weigh less then 17,000 lbs to fit on the trailer. It's a 1 1/2 yard bucket machine. Will use it for gravel pit loading and job site work.

Robert, I worked for Case for 25 years, if you need help or parts or advice, feel free to call me @ (314) 966-6692. I can also fax you a dealers spec sheet. Thanks, Steve

Hi Robert,as Deas hasn't responded I'll offer what little I know. I originally looked at a W8E that I understood was around 16k lbs. Later I looked at a W22 that was a LOT more. You want to check to make sure you're not exceeding that 17k lbs. I ended up with a 23k lb Cat (944) which suited my needs better. Definitely talk to your Case dealer about parts availability. If they haven't sold many 14B's, support might be lacking. Your weight restriction is decidedly limiting. For loader work you're headed in the correct direction.
