hello, Would anyone know do I have to split the tractor apart to get at the brakes. The brakes are very hard to press down, it almost feels like the are in a locked position? I don't know if the is a parking brake lock on the these brakes as this tractor is new to me? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul

But before you rip into that...might want to check the pedals at the shaft they pivot on...almost sounds like they are binding there with rust. A little time with some penetrant like PB Blaster or equivalent and some manipulation and you might be back in business. Wouldn't be the first time pedals froze like that !!

Robert, Thank you so much for the information. So are you saying that I do have to take the backhoe off also or just disconnect the rear from the hoe. Thanks, Paul

just the rear pins for uper support bar.this bar gose over the rear axles and can be jack up to get anof room to work there.you could remove the back hoe from the tractor but that adds lots of work to the job.good luck, Robert
