I pulled the track off my 420 today to get started rebuilding the steering clutch. The axle has loose bearings on the sprocket end. No grease has leaked out. Can the bearing be tightened by taking shims out at the inside end? TIA

Bernie, You add shims to remove freeplay. If you do this, while you are in there, make sure the axle retainer bolts are tight. Lavoy

Thanks about the retainer bolts Lavoy. I thought after I posted I might have it backwards. Bernie
