I just picked up a cletrac crawler Model HG68. serial number 10ga684 according to this site it looks like it was built in 1944. I picked it up for a 100 dollars, it hasen't run in about 10 years.the rear end was full of water, the crankcase was ok with oil in it.I'm not sure if the engine is free yet, as it has a hydrolic pump on it. I will have to remove the tin to check on that further. what kind of oil goes in the rear end ? Thanks Mark

SAE 140 for 70F and above SAE 40 for 32 to 70F SAE 30 below 32F I suspect replacing the water with oil is not all it is going to need ;) Good luck
