Alvin, is the oil pouring out or is it just seeping out? If it's pouring out you may have to get the drive shaft lengthed 3/8". The engine mounts on some machines where too far forward and the seal area of the shaft wasn't in the seal far enough. This was a problem on earlier machines but never on an L. Meanwhile check that the engine mounting bolts are tight. Now if it's just seeping out, look closely at the two forcing bolt holes amoung the mounting bolts that hold the converter into the housing. If you have oil coming out of them you will need to pull the converter, take the convertor out of the housing and replace the seals under the mounting flange. I have pulled the mounting flange off in place but it is hard to get the snap ring off of the ground sleeve to remove the mounting flange. If you try it this way get a gasket for the scavenge pump, you need to take it off to lift the weight of the convertor to get the flange back on the splines. There is a large and a small o ring under the flange. Email me if you like. Later Bob

One more thing Alvin, make sure the Cast Iron seal ring in the groove on the shaft is not missing. Later Bob
