JD strait 450 dry clutches

I bought an old 78 John Deere strait 450 and the dry clutches are going out.Can any one please give me the basics on replacing them? I have figured out most of the mechanics with the help of a friend that is no longer around....could use the help!

first you must mean 1968 as the 450 was build 65-70 450B was 70-76 then 450c was 74-83 but a C had wet clutches... First you must remove top off machine rops then tanks and battery box hydraulic tank fuel tank i take them off as one piece but may be easier for you to handle if split apart. Then split track take spocket off take covers off top of steering clutches and brakes take bearing quil off then lock bolt that is down buy steering clutch drum pull axle out then take brake band linkage apart and use brake band to lift clutch assembly out.
