I just got an industrial grapple for my Bobcat and it comes with a "fork" bucket with 7 teeth/ tines. It has room for 6 more but the Bobcat price is normally very high so I am looking at buying some 1 3/4 inch round steel and cut it to lenght. Would normal cold rolled steel be strong enough or what should I look for.

That oughta work just fine if they are not too long. Be handy to have a lathe to get the little pointy end.

I was just going to cut them at an angle but you are right I was wondering how they got the point on those. Looks like they used a heavy duty pencil sharpener.
