Here's another rookie question. The manual for the MF 200B lists the lube for the rollers/idlers as SAE 30. Realizing that the factory knows best I can't help but feeling that 30 is fairly light weight. Anybody care to offer an opinion of substitution of multi-purpose grease? Thanks

on my old td-9s I Put 20/50 oil, if that leaks out quickly I add 90/140 gear oil, if that leaks out I fill with wheel wheel bearing grease. On these machines I am not going to spend time and money to replace bearings and seals on rollers. I feel some lube is better than running dry after 1 hour of work. I am not recomending this but it works for me. my machines will work till thay are not worth repairing, and them be used for parts for one of my other machines.
