I finally got the Cat to move, but was surprised by the foot pedals. Theleft one turns left, the middle one turns right, but when the middle one is pushed, the right one goes down too. Pushing just the right one didn't appear to do anything. Any help? Thanks for the replies from the other ad.

Is it a MF400 or a CAT? IF it is a mf400 the right pedal is the main brake there is a brake latch by the high low shift it is a short rod stiking out of the floor. all the pedals are on a comon shaft and are greesable ck it may need to be greesed it sounds like it may be binding or it may be in the linkage under the seat. The cluches and brakes for steering are hydrulic actuated but the main brake peadel is manuel to the stering brakes. As I remember we had this proublem once and it was the auto brake ajustment when the brakes are actuated the ajuster will ratch ahead to keep the main brakes equal. Also on the back of the machine there are brake ajustment bolts they are the 5/8 head bolts in the center of a large nut to adjust tighten them in til they stop and back off 5 clicks. Hope this helps. there are other ajustment but try this first as they are much more complex.
