If you have a need for the wide pads,ie.working in soft or swampy ground, side hill work in soft or muddy conditions etc than the wide pads will be the way to go. If the majority of your work is on hard flat ground with alot of turning, then you and your checkbook are not going to like them. It is very possible to wear a set of LGP chains out in 700+/- hours. The wide pads, on hard ground, twist and flex the chains causing alot of internal wear on the pins and bushings, the sides of the rails and rollers,to the point that the tractor will be running out of its tracks. No amount of track tightening will keep them from jumping out. Also when working around stumps and rocks the pads have a tendency to bend. If you are not going to be doing any swamp work, change the pads out to a narrow set (if they are in good shape sell them or keep them for when you sell the tractor),if they are worn, torch 2-3 inches off of each side. The tractor will handle better and undercarriage wear wil be greatly reduced

Wide grousers put alot of stress on chains and the rest of the machine. It ia always best to run the narrowest grouser you can it is easier on the whole machine. If you need any parts or grousers just email me
