I know absolutely nothing about a dozer and would like to rescue a track loader which has been parked for 8-10 years. It is an IH 100C Power Shift 4cyl diesel. My cousin once "gave" it to me but now may "need some financial help":( 1-I believe I can move it without to much trouble. 2-It could have gotten some water in it as there are a couple of small holes in the exhaust at the top of a bulge just above the hood but the "flipper" at the top seems ok. 3-It supposedly had a lot of engine work (?) done just before it was parked. 3-Parked because of "some hydraulic problem" (some part of the bucket doesn't work) 4-Before I go getting to deep into this thing, what do you experts think it is worth (outward appearance is good+) 5-Can't find serial nos. listed anywhere to check age but the ROPS was installed 4/19/73 The serial no. as best I can make out is 4490004U001293 and above that is "1000" "PS" "LR" (what a helluva place to put an ID plate). I need one real bad to clean up some clearcut woodland to plant for pasture.

Hello Mac, --- 15 / Nov. / 2003 --- Your International 100C crawler SERIAL NUMBER "4490004U001293" was made 1973. I have a complete listing of S #'s for the "100C" and "100E" IH crawlers. Since the motor is NOT running, this will make the crawler on the low end of value. It looks like your work is not worth it for this crawler, other than to part it out. Regards, Milton
