Fiat-Allis (Fat Alice I call them) made good machines but resale value is nil, if you buy it you should plan on keeping it, I'm far from an expert but I'll give your questions a shot, yes, parts are available if your pockets are deep enough, the Fiat's I have been around (FD-7 & FL-7) ran an Iveco engine, I have no idea on a year model, unless you can see a stump or something close to the tractor that might have caused the track to jump off I would say the U/C is worn to a point where the track will no longer stay on, and from the other side being tight this almost positively gives it away, (lotsa $$$$$), your gonna need it running to put the track back on and it sounds like you have a good idea of how to do that mabye take along a can of ether would be the only thing I would add, if the track is froze up from rust you have got a JOB, probably the best course to take would be to take the track completely off, find the master pin and drive it out then work on freeing the links PB blaster would work well I suppose but diesel fuel would be cheaper (if your not in a hurry) your gonna need another machine of some sort to help you do all this, them put the track back under the Fiat reverse the machine to the end of the track, have someone with a strong back and weak mind take a bar and keep the track on the sprocket as you pull forward all the way up to the front idler, then loosen and push the track adjuster back and if it was done correctly you will have enough slack in the track to install the master pin joining the 2 ends back together. It's entirely up to you if you want to put this much work into it and wind up with a machine that you cant sell and still needs an undercarriage.
