You are going to have to drag it CAREFULLY. With a hydrostat,it locks up when there is no oil pressure to it. There is no easy way to disengage the drives short of dismantling the final drives and removing the chains.Your best bet would be to fix the engine where it sits,or pull it up on a trailer or rollback and take it to the shop

Im not sure if the drive is locked up or the engine I think it is just the drive that is locked up the engine was running fine before this. the unit was running for about five minutes when it died I dont understand why the drive is locked up and the engine I cannt turnover motor.

Even if the motor is tied up or not, the drives will not turn. It is possible that the pumps siezed, causing the engine to act like its locked up. Even with the engine out of the machine, the wheels will not turn, its the nature of a hydrostat machine.

I am curious about that too. I the manual for my 773 it states that you are only supposed to drag it a very short distance, 25 feet I think it was. They show a crane being used to move it. There has to be a way of disabling the parking brake etc. Some of the places I use my Bobcat you would not be able to get a crane close to.
