I have a bobcat 610. Problem is when using the high speed the half shaft on the left side where the drive belt is leaks quite severly. I've checked the jackshaft housing and bearing and all seems to be O.K.I replaced the sealing washers and gasket on the inside of the bearing housing and no luck. Any suggestions??

Given your familiarity with this, let me ask a related question. Recently, when I push the lever forward to go into high speed, the variable sheave moves together mcuh faster than previously, almost instantaneously, and causes the engine to stall. Have you got any experience or thoughts on this? Thanks.

Hi Keno, I replaced the bearing, housing, shaft and the sealing washers and gasket and all is o.k. now. There must have been too much clearance somewhere.

I believe these parts are for the variable sheath on the motor side. Correct? Mine is leaking on the other end where that half jackshaft goes into the side of the machine where the chains are. There is a bearing and housing and 4 sealing washers.
