Mine is a 1964 model, Give us your serial number and someone will chime in with the age of your machine. Mine has been good but I nurse the head. Long warm up and at least 10 minutes to cool down at a low idle. Is yours powershift or gears and what problems have you got?

get back to you with s/n power shift i guess the only problem i have had is with torque converter area. first the straps broke caused a bad leak then they broke again the second time i had mechanic to make a plate to blolt between instead of straps. that worked good but now the machine has quit pulling and the drive gear for the trans will free spin. i love the work the machine will do and the engine runs like a sewing machine. very strong for its size and everything else seems to be fine. it just cost me alot of money to have it worked on. so i was looking for other owners to tell some things so i can figure out whether i should mees with it or not. i wish i had the equipment to work on it myself i believe it would be an easy fix if i could handle the tear down and reaasembly. thanks

Yes Darryl I own a TD9B, gear drive which I gather is a bit rare compared to powershift models. It is Turbo 282 whereas the powershift is not. What do you want to talk about or are you having problems?
