I've been getting most of my HD Allis Chalmers parts from a former AC dealer who is now an AGCO dealer. They have new parts and also some old AC stock. They're in PA, but I'm sure there's lots of other AC industrial dealers. Their website is at: Link

I know that AGCO bought out Allis Chalmers but I thought they only delt with the agricultural part. So they do sell parts for the dozer?

As I said, I've been getting my AC industrial HD crawler parts there with no problems. I have an HD4, HD6, and HD11. So far, I've been able to get any part I've asked for. Been a few times I shopped around a bit for a better price, but they've always had what I wanted. I recently called for an engine kit for my HD4 200 c.i. and they had it right in stock. All sleeves, pistons, rings, main and rod bearings, and gaskets for $768. That's not bad. Parts for my HD6 344 c.i. engine are a little higher since it's really a Buda (even though is says AC on it). But those parts can still be bought direct from the Buda Engine company a little cheaper. Called for a couple of big pins for my HD6 and they had them too (expensive, though). Called for a few undercarriage parts for my HD6 and HD11, they had them all. They've also faxed me parts-breakdowns for my dozers so I could call them back with part numbers. I've found that the newly manufactured parts are reasonably priced, but salvage parts can be high, and new-old-stock parts are out of this world. I needed the big pin on my HD6 that the front cross piece and transverse spring rides on. Maybe a foot long and 1 1/2" diam. but nothing fancy; just a pin with a head on it. They had a used one for $75, and a new-old-stock pin from leftover Allis Chalmers inventory for $500!! I almost had a stroke. Needless to say, I bought the used pin. The $75 was high enough.
