Anybody had any of these out before? I'd love to know how they came out 'cause evidently I'm not smart enough to figure it out. They sit in there cross-ways of the machine and go from one side to the other and I cant see how to get any clearance to get them out. Old gas burner skid-steer the hydraulic oil smells very much like gas, probably with good reason as the fill spouts are only about a foot apart.

Jack machine up and block it well. Start on the right side. Drain gear oil and remove access panel between the wheels. Loosen chain tensioner and rotate wheels until you find the link to take the chain apart and roll chain off drive sprocket and tensioner sprocket. remove 6 capscrews from inside the machine and nut from drive sprocket shaft, remove shaft and drive sprocket. remove drive gear from end of motor andthen all the nuts holding the plate that the motor shaft comes through. (If yours has a parking brake, all of that needs to be removed). take all lines and levers off the right side drive motor and remove bolts from center gear box. You can now move the right pump and motor to the right into the hole far enough to lift it out. It is heavy so use a small hoist fastened to the top of the cab to lift it. Go to the other side and do the same thing. Shouldn't take more than a couple of days and a good hydraulic shop can overhaul them for about $1000.00 each. While you are at it overhaul the gearbox and main hydraulic pump.
