Are OC3 transmissions bulletproof

I picked up the spare parts that went with the OC3 that I bought last weekend. There were 3 complete transmissions plus lots of other stuff. Either those transmissions never break or the previous owner thought they were fragile. How does one figure out the value of these parts? I need some parts and I have some spares but don't know any values for trading. What are the parts that seem to be rare? Thanks in advance for helping a novice get started.

I think it is more likely that he ran 3 OC-3's into the ground and the parts you have are what was worth saving!

Having just restored an OC-46 I can say that scarce stuff (in good condition) on an Oliver crawler will be:
metal work (fenders, hood, etc.)
drive sprockets (that aren't worn to points!)
tracks (that have decent pins & bushings)
engines (that run or have lots of good parts)
seat cushions (never seen an original!)
rad caps (and cover flaps)
generators, starters, & lights

Stuff that is almost indestructible and never wears out is frame and drive train.
