My dozer has only a 2-way blade. I need to adjust the angle and tilt of the blade so that I can cut a large ditch (approx. 5 feet wide) so that I can drain a swampy reagon in my pasture. I know that the tilt can be adjusted with the dogs that are wedged behide both sides of the blade. Question: What is a good procedure for make this adjustment?

thats a tough one. On my 350 you can manhandle the blade but 450 is too big to even think about that! You have to drive the pins up & out to get the blade free from the tractor. Then slide the arm out. May have to chain arm to a tree & back away to get a tight one out. Pull the arm pins out first of course. Now flip the arm over so the offset hole is the other way, maybe on both arms or just one depending on how worn your system is. When you get it right, diagram it so you wont forget. Helpful to lean the blade against something as once it gets on the ground, an endloader is awful handy. May want to shove the ditch out sideways rather than wrestle that blade.
