Hi guys.I need to remove a sprocket from a 1974 931 loader.Any ideas on removal at home,or do I need to take it to a workshop?Thanks again.

You need a hyd press to get them off and back on tight enough Jim. It will be cheaper to pay to have them pulled and pressed back on rigth than have one come loose and ruin the tapered splines. Are you doing undercarrahe or just a final drive seal? Later Bob

Hi BOB.I'm actually wrecking the 931...it's down to being just a big oblong block,which is the rear end.I just need to get the sprockets off to get into finals/steering,etc.Thanx Bob,I enjoy your posts.

Jim, you can just unbolt the cases from the steering clutch case and sell them sprockets and all assembled. You will need a puller to get the flanges off the final drive pinions and the bevel gear shaft though. Later Bob
