Here is how it works. The steering booster in under the seat and there is a pipe with a plug on top to fill with oil. The booster has a pump under it and it is driven by the trans input shaft. When you have the engine running and the master clutch engaged. Traveling or in neutral the pump is working. When you pull back on the steering levers you should feel resistance then the booster will kick in and the lever goes back all the way freely. Is this happening? You say the RH doesn't work. Do the RH and LH both feel the same when you pull back on them? Make sure the booster is full of oil, try them one at a time and both together and get back to me with how they are responding. Later Bob

Baboon, look in the holes under the covers on the back and see what is going on inside. Will one or both not release? They have a booster on the top of the case. What is the serial#? Later Bob

looking to buy a d6b--serial 44a--machine will not turn to the right, it appears that right clutch will not release--how much of a job to pull steering clutch--steers well to the left.
