I have a 763 with worn or broken pin/bushing in one side. The other side feels good and I can get the bolt out. Now, I assume I will have to find somehow to get the bushing out. Dealer says they cut them out with a torch. But, the other side has stripped threads, either on bolt or attachment - or both. I can spin the bolt very easily, it just will not come out. Where do I go from here? I have never done this before and I am going to dealer tomorrow to get new pins and bushings, so maybe I will understand more after I pick up parts. But, I assume the female threads are part of the Bob-Tach unit itself and if they are damaged I will have to replace the unit. Or, build it up, re-tap it and keep using it.?? Any thoughts on this folks. Thanks in advance for the help. David in Icy SC.

The pin that the bolt threads into is tapered where it goes into the lift arm, and if it is not tight it will allow the pin and bolt combo to turn, probably need an air impact wrench to tighten or loosen these, or a torch and cut the bolt head off. Those bushings are a bear the only thing about cutting them out with a torch is you will have a nice grease fire if the pins have been greased regular, we used to weld nuts down inside the bushing that would thread on to our slide hammer and had pretty good luck with that.
