Anthony the direct drive is best for farm work, long hauls like pulling a plow for a mile nonstop. The powershift is best for dozing, short cycles and heavy loads. The torque divider acts like a trans when the load gets heavier but you use a bit more fuel. Check the magnetic screen before you buy. Anything coming apart will get caught in it. Get it warm and make sure it steers well at low idle. If it steers better one way than the other it could be bevelgear shaft bearings going out of it. If it stops driving after a shift at low idle it might have a worn out pump or oil leak at the tube feeding the trans valve.Check the sprockets for side movement with a crowbar and that the final drives hold oil. Undercarrage and final drives are going to be your biggest cost with a track machine. Later Bob

I like the driect because of the fact that it cost less the fix it say the clutch goes out. With the other system it really hurts when say the converter goes out, like say around $10,000
