Went to use my 420 today and when I would try to push into the snow bank it would act like something locked up,, bog down and almost stall,, I noticed the left side turning clutch seems odd from how it was when I parked it,, could Ice do these things? I hope thats all it is,,I put it back in the barn and will leave it till the snow is gone and it warms up....Jim

Jim, you may have gotten water into the clutch housing and it's frozen. There is a pipe plug on the underside of each housing. If you have a bellypan with dirt on it, it may be a while before you can get at it. I took the plugs out of mine and left them out years ago. They may take a 3/8 drive socket wrench (square hole) or a big allen wrench.

If you can, take out the barrel plug on the front of the housing. You might be able to see evidence of water (frost all over everything). Bernie
