1150B dozer quits pulling forward on one side after 10 to 15 minutes, allow to sit for a while it will work another 15, tee a gauge into the line from control valve going to fwd. pack and I still have pressure after it quits, swapped out the shaft, clutch pack, sealing rings and the end cap with some used parts he had from a junk dozer the trans. was working fine in, but didn't change this one, he hasn't really needed this dozer so we've been working on it as I have time, but now his primary dozer the D has done the exact same thing and he's getting really excited now since he has 2 with the same problem but we cant find it. Reverse High and Low works perfectly on the same side as the Fwd. problem. CASE.....they will do in CASE you dont have anything else. Haha

Got case 1000 series D. Don't have book here for it. But might be another clutch pack that needs looking at.

HD19, Those of us with 1000 series tractors ought to keep track of each other , I have several 1000's, and have had the C loader for 35 years and a D dozer (mongral) for more than 30 years . They have been very good tractors. HD19 send me an email. gatractorman, In that many years I thought that I had had all of the problems that a 1000 could give you ,but this one is new to me . I overhauled an 1150B trans but it has been 15 or more years ago and I can't remember all the plumbing . Is there a brake valve in the line from the trans control valve to the cap on the oil control rings that the 1000 and plain 1150 do not have . Related to the third brake pedal . If not, it has to be a clutch problem .A broken outer oil control ring will run the trans temp up quickly because it puts two clutches in at the same time and fighting each other. A broken inner will just drop the clutch pressure. george
