Thanks for the replies. Everything I've found so far says it should have the BD-154, but the owner claims it's a D-239. (He has a stack of manuals for it about 18" high.) I don't know the model year, but it has the gold 3414 badge on the lower radiator cowl instead of the upper steering cowl, like most pics I've seen. History is vague, but supposedly the previous owner put a new clutch, upper swing pivot cap, and main pump in it right before this guy got it. The current owner put several new hoses on, one bull gear it the diff., flushed the entire system, filters, all fresh $ Hytran $, put in new disc brakes, bought a second smaller rear bucket, dug one basement, did some small trench work, about 200 hrs, in all, and then the rod went. After checking on parts to fix it, he decided to just go buy a JD 310, and leave the IH sit. It has sat outside with the pan off for 2 1/2 years, but it's full of anti-freeze, and the Hytrans looks clean. Shifter boot is there, and it has a canopy top, doesn't look to have taken on any rainwater. (Karen: I'm e-mailing you for parts info.) If I decide against fixing it, anybody know what it's worth (ballpark) as a parts machine? Maybe I can "leverage" my way up to a better TLB by just moving it on, as-is. Thanks, Mike
