I have a few acres of land that I would like to landscape. I would like to purchase my own dozer, ( renting could get expensive). I have seen the Mitsubishi machine on ebay, are they any good ? I know that cat or komatsu are probably a better quality, but they seem to be more beat up, more hours, more $$$. Any thoughts on them would be apprciated. Thanks Anthony

I own a BD2G & do a little work for a local gov't dep't.They are a good, economical unit to run & are well built.A ripper & steel tracks are the best options, but not usually standard on these dozers.I don't know of any F,G or H series that have worked a lot of hours, but the early series which were sold in Australia, worked long hours & were well liked. They push well, but must be treated like a small dozer. If you need to clear trees, get a larger machine, but light clearing is OK.Excellent clean up machines, especially with PAT blade.Good luck.
