Hello all, Looking (in vain so far) for a workshop manual for a JCB 3C MKII. I'm not sure of the year but it's probably a late 60's, or early 70's machine. Specifically I have a clutch problem and I would like to get some technical info before diving in! Appreciate any pointers readers might be able to give. Thanks G

I have put many clutches in JCB's,if you need to replace the clutch it is done with the engine in situ, the bellhousing splits in half, you take the battery and carrier out of the way, take out the floor inside the cab take the heater too, take the top half of the bellhousing off, take the pin out of the sleeve that connects the input shaft to the gearbox and slide the sleeve back, take throw out fork out of the way, undo the pressure plate bolts taking note if there is spacer washers between the plate and flywheel,if it is a heavy duty clutch it will have the spacers, pull the shaft back an inch and lift the clutch out. Hello G Man. What type of machine is this? Is it a crawler, backhoe, or what. I have several pieces of literature dealing with JCB. Please let me know. Robert.
