A friend of mine bought this little diesel engine at an auction. He would like to sell it. It is supposed to be out of a Bobcat. I can find no markings on it that identifies it. I've got a couple of pics on my website. They're a little on the large size, but I wanted to have some good detail. If anyone knows what engine it is I would appreciate it of you let me know. Click on the link below for another pic. Thanks, Joe Link

Thats the old Peugeot engine (XUD9 or something to that effect) they used in 751 Bobcats for about a year, they were not a very good engine and most of them have been changed out to Kubota engines now, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's pretty much worthless.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. The block is broken on this engine. It looks like damage from a rod coming off, or something similar. He's hoping to sell a couple of peices off it, like maybe a head or injection pump. At least I know what it is now. Thanks again. Joe R
