UD-18 oil pressure?

Can anyone indicate would would be a good or normal oil pressure for a TD/UD-18?

Our UD-18 restoration is largly complete but oil pressure is a little below expectaion. When hot and at idle pressure dropped as low as 10psi.
we changed the pressure gauge - no change.
So we pulled the sump again and stripped the oil pump. Although it's not prefect it's largly in spec with the main problem being the shaft to housing clearance is about 0.004" out of spec. The company we had look at it recomended it wasn't that bad and would require some tricky bushing etc to get it back in spec. They also priced this to make it not realistic ($US1,000). I think this was a they wern't interested price.

We did find the oil was diluted slightly with petrol. Fuel left on? and a lot of starting problems on pretrol is the cause we think. We have now fixed those problems and it now starts good.

While the sump was off I checked the main bearings, they were in tolerance.

With new oil and a differant grade (thicker -what grade I forget sorry) it now runs 30psi cold and 27psi hot.

So have we missed anything?
and is this now normal pressure?

Thanks,

James

I believe I have an oil pump which was taken off of a UD-18 when it was parted for its good block.
If you're interested..... ..... ..
Thanks.
