We bought a JD 440 dozer that came with a 6-way blade that the previous owner never got around to installing on the dozer. My problem is it is missing the two hydraulic cylinders for the angle. I have been trying to locate them and not having any luck. If anyone can steer me in the right direction it sure would be appreciated.

set the blade at center streigh position and then measure the distance between the pin holes. this will give you the length of the ram you need when it is at HALF stroke. then go to TSC or Northern HYDRO and find one with the right stroke, remember the total stroke will be Twice what you measured.

I have a friend that just bought a 1010 with a power 6-way on it that he is going to part out. I think he wants to sell the 6-way complete but you can email me and I will send you his link

Does anyone know if a 6-way blade for a JD440 can be easily adapted to fit a JD420C ?
