Can I put new seals in the bucket cylinders (not lift) without removing them from the unit or do I need to take the things completely out of there?

They can be repacked in the tractor, just remove the rod end from the bucket linkage after you get the packing nut loose. Pull out the rod/piston,block it and put the rod pin back in the linkage to hold it from turning while you take the piston nut off.
