what did i do wrong

adjusted steering clutches on my jd 450. 66 or 67 model now all i have is brakes both sides,pulling one lever.had no right turn to start with.have jd manual,what di i need to back off on?

re-read adjustments did not back off brakes 1 1/4 turn ,while back in there i adjusted stering clutch ,now turn ether awy or will turn in circle thanks for your coments

Was it steering before you adjusted them? Why did you adjust? Sounds like you have the brakes adjusted too tight. Or maybe they are not releasing. If they need to come apart give us a shout, we do this type of work all the time and have the parts you'll, need available to do the job.

I don't know what you did wrong. Maybe go back from the start and reset as per the book says,but I bet you will have to tear it down and clean and or replace disc's check pressure plates maybe replace them if they look pretty rusty. If you do tear it down I know where you can get the parts you need. Email me and I'll send link
