Hello: I have a D3C LGP dozer whos bottom track rollers are hitting the rail pin boses. It was suggested that I cut 1/4 inch from the outside edges of the bottom track rollers. This would then stop the bottom rollers from riding on the track rail pin boses. It I did this would the tracks be eazier to come off in turns? Would this be cost effect? When I do replace the track rails I will have to replace the modified bottom track rollers also, they presently appear to be OK.Any comments would be appreciated.

Buy a welder and learn how to use it.

Robert, a couple of things... If the bottom rollers are hitting the pin bosses, BOTH are worn out unless someone has replaced one or the other at one time!! Best thing is measure everything. Then you can find out what is worn and can make a educated decision on what to do. I personaly don't believe in short cuts. Most things wear out together and should be replaced together. Think about it...you have rails or rollers wearing at angles, then you replace one or the other with new so now you have one nice straight surface riding on a surface that is not true!! Wonder which way the new surface is going to wear?? Anyway, if you need help measuring, or need the measurements, or if you need new undercarriage, whole or part, email me and I will send you a link that could help you and save you money
