I HAVE A MITSUBISHI BS3F NEED TO CHANGE THE SEAL IN THE TRACK ADJUSTMENT. I WAS TOLD I HAVE TO SPLIT THE TRACK TO GET THE ADJUSTMENT BAR OUT.HOW DO YOU SPLIT THE TRACK WITH JUST HAND TOOLS.

All you need is a 20 pound sledge hammer and a pin drift that is a smaller diameter than the master pin. I do not know what a Mitsi BS3F is but on a Mitsi excavator the master pin has a cotter pin holding it in place and the pin is not have a real tight fitin the links. When you find the maser pin put a block in front of the track and drive the machine against it so there is not any pressure or tension on the track, remove the cotter pin and then drive out the master pin.
