It's a very common Delco starter and all the parts are available from Delco or aftermarket.

Jde...I had the starter rebuilt today...$130.00..New armature, drive ,brushes ,bushings...had it done within 1 1/2 hours. As to your previous post im transplanted from Chicago to Ca finally ended up in North Carolina Between Asheville and Hickory...Beautiful country for sure...the site iam leveling is soon to be our new house..Im trying to get as much leveled as possible then call in the big dogs to finish it..to cut costs a bit and so we can get the house done by summers end.The going rate per hour out here for grading is $80.00 for dozer..125.00 for track hoe..I do apreciate your help... its amazing how that 350 just keeps on going...When i thought i had engine problems it turned out the hydraulic lines in the back came undone...so as the engine turned over the knocking was the crank turning against the pump pulley, which made it sound like a real bad bearing knock...Glad it was that easy...

This probably sounds like a stupid question, but are there still rural areas left in North Carolina, and if so, what is an average price for acreage that is quiet and has some character (by that I mean wooded with hills - and not alongside a highway, ATV trail, or shopping center and not under mass development?). Land in this area in the dairy farming region (soon to be ex-dairy farming area) of Central New York in-between the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains could be had a few years ago for $400-$600 an acre for parcels over 20 acres. Now, $1000 - $2500 per acre is not uncommon. We're four hours driving time from the New York City area, so now the celebrities and movie stars are buying up farms here - and driving us white trash and grease monkeys out. Yoko Ono (John Lennon's widow has one here, Brad Pitt just bought one, who know who else is coming).

JDE There is still lots of land left out here...It is going up in price also...1500...to 2000.00 a acre if you go to more rural it gets cheaper...Were about 20 minutes out of town Marion nc.(Mayberry)..Can still shoot guns in your own yard...our new house site sits up against CSX railroad property so i imagine it wont be built on for a long time and it goes back for miles ..We have black bear ,turkeys,Bobcats,Of course Deer...We have train tunnels dated back the the 1800's...We also run natural spring water to the household...Neighbors???...What neighbors...HAHAHAHa
