I want to buy a crawler loader/dozer that can be pulled behind a Ford F-350 one ton single rear wheel. What are my options? What machines weigh the least ???

Floyd, stay 10000 lbs GVW on trailer and machine, under 18000 combined wieght. There is no way you can safely tow an 10000+ machine on a 2000+ trailer and be safe with a single wheel truck. I know some of you do this and do that but you need to think about public safety. I have seen your rigs!!! They scare me to death. Floyd, find a nice Case 310G or 350 Dozer. The loaders are heavy but the dozers are 7000-9000lbs and they are a great machine

You need to stay under 10,000# or away from cops unless you have a CDL. If you're over 10,000# and do have a CDL you'll need to register your little rig in combination.

I suggest a JD 350C..It weighs about 10,000 and your rig should be able to handle that easily.

Second for the JD350 tow- powerful l'il dozer is a monster in the woods or grading, mine weighs right at 12K with heavy blade, rake & winch. Your trailer will weigh at least a ton too- my F350 Crew/Single pulls a 16' flatbed and dozer pretty well- but you know there's a load on. Gotta' have trailer brakes, electric/hydraulic preferably.
