D6 9U brake help

I have a D6 9U dozer I'm in the process of removeing the steering brakes and the band comes out in three pieces, Does anyone know where I can get the brake lining materal at a reasonable price? and once it is back together how do you adjust the brake band? Thanks for the Help. Michael/WV

Most any place that relines heavy duty brakes can do it, nothing special about the lining since they are dry brakes. As for adjustment, as best as I recall you run the band support bolt that is located under the brake housing up until it is tight and then back it off about a turn. Cat has a you tighten the top adjuster till tight then back it off a specific number of turns but I don't remember it right now. I always tightened the adjuster on top till I got the pedal height I wanted.
