I just rebuilt both sides of the finals on my 350B crawler I did all of the adjustments just like the service manual said.Aftermarket clutch plates were purchased and brake bands,The throwout bearings came from JD. One side has a new pressure plate from JD and the other side has a aftermarket plate. The dozer turns fine on the side with the JD plate, But you have to pull real hard on the other side to get it to turn I have been over the adjustment on both sides My question is could it be a bad pressure plate? or am I missing something I am not looking forward to pulling the final off again

Jim, couple of things to try,You should be able to adjust levers so when you pull them back real slow the clutches should disengage and machine should coast to a stop. This will tell you that they will disengage.Next is you will have to see if each brake is working. If they check out then I suggest starting over and check all of the adj.. I hope you set it with a gauge!!! good luck .
