RS1626,
I just rebuilt all of my return lines. Like previously posted, those little nuts can be cracked, you have to look real close to find cracks. The nuts appear to be the same size as compression nuts you buy at hardware store. They aren't. I tried that and it did not work well. So, I went to Case dealer and bought correct parts, cleaned it all very well with degreaser, blew it all out with air, and reassembled. Luckily, no leaks yet. Had 3 different leaks before I rebuilt. Also, do not overtorque, not much more than fingertight to start. Check for leaks and tighten in small increments as necessary. Overtightening will damage the seals and crack the nuts very fast.

Good luck.
David
