JCB, air in hydraulics?

i'm new to TLBackhoes. i had a backhoe cylinder rebuilt cause it was leaking. my brother put it on and didn't bleed the air whe installing. now it has air everywhere in the system. will the air finally work it's way out by cycling all the cylinders. will it hurt the pump?

There is no bleeding required,fill the tank up to the mark and push all the cylinder rods in and out a few times,check the oil level again and top up as required.
