Here's my '68 Case 310G that I recently finished. I completely rebuilt the undercarriage-new finals, chains, sprockets, pads, rollers, carriers, idlers. One thing I really like about this machine is that it's really easy to work on, I did all the work myself with no specialty tools with the exception of borrowing a torque amplifier to achieve the 800ft/lbs of torque required for the axle nuts. It's also equipped with power tilt. New parts were easy to come by through the local Case Industrial dealer. I just put 10 hours on it since the undercarriage rebuild and everything seems ok. I figured with my luck, I go out and break something right away. Anyway, just thought I'd share since there's a lot of 310's out there.

That's a great looking dozer..... a credit to your patience/efforts.I just got an old 310 loader & am thinking about restoring it....hope I have the patience that I'll need! You should take some video footage of your dozer, before it gets too dirty.....good luck.

I had it in my barn, so I worked on it off and on this past winter. Not sure how many hours it took but it wasn't too difficult to work on.

Here's a picture of it just after painting.

Nice job.
To get the link to work you have to give it a title in the "link title" box.
