I'm in search of both a parts and a service manual for a AC I-600 forklift.

Anyone have any leads?

Thanks!

Doc

Doc, I will check my manuals today, slight chance I may have an extra. Exactly what model is the machine. Mine is a 621. Chuck

Chuck,

All that is on the truck data plate is:
Model - I600
Serial No. - 2001

Best I can tell from the owner's manual (found that on ebay by accident) is that all the trucks are the same. The different designations (I-620, I-630 etc.) only distinguish the difference in lifting heights, so from that I would have to say I don't believe it would make any difference as long as the manual was for a I-600 series.

Thanks Chuck!

I overhauled the motor in this thing last winter, now the guy called me back saying it had a knock in it and he figured it was the engine.

When I got it back I found the knock is in either the reverser/shuttle or the speed trans.
When I run the engine real slow and load the hyd system there is a definent knock/rattle like a bearing or gear out. The hyd pressure is steady and the noise sounds further forward so I don't think its the pump drive.
The noise is present with the speed transmission in neutral as well as in every gear.
The noise is also present with the shuttle/reverser in neutral, however it seems to get louder with the shuttle in the forward position....
I'm guessing there is a bearing out in the reverser/shuttle.
To top it all off the guy snapped off one of the bolt/studs attaching the right side final drive onto the main frame, then he continued to drive the fork....the rest of the bolts worked loose and now the whole thing is moving around.

I'm basically going to have to tear the entire forklift down to get at these sections from the looks of it.
Our local Fiat/Allis dealer isn't too enthusiastic about being able to find any parts, in fact he doesn't even have a parts book for this truck.
I was hoping to at least get a look at how the trans/shuttle/differential system is laid out.

I'm hoping other then the shuttle/reverser that a ag tractor will have the same parts...

Obviously this truck really isn't worth fixing but he already has $3200.00 in the engine.
