I am going to be working on an old fireline plow, I believe it to be a Seico (not sure of spelling). I am giong to need some parts, but this is a tool that we do not have in this area. Anybody know if they are still in business, or any other ideas?
The plow was on a 40 John Deere, so is not a large plow.

Glad to hear someone is working on a Sieco plow. Worked for the Missouri Department of Conservation and we had Sieco plows on crawlers. Last I knew the company was still in business. We modified them a lot to work better in our rocky soils. Not many parts would have to come from Sieco, other parts can be made to work with some welding and cutting. Where are you located?

I am in SE ND, not much for fireline plow around here.
Any of the steel parts I am not worried about, but I do need the moldboards, and a new hub and coulter if I can find it. THe hub can be made, and the coulter is not that big of a deal, but the moldboards are. Any idea how I can get in touch with Seico?

Yes, it is going to dump the oil, but that is not such a bad deal, as long as you are replacing filter, might as well change the oil. Good to here from you.
