Got an old Parker hose crimper--Parkrimp model 80c-80 with series 43 dies to make hoses for a dozer. I have SAE 100R2 AT hose and fittings from this website>Link
They>Link say it will work with Parker crimpers, but i have also heard that parker discontinued or changed these fittings. I'm wondering if the 43 series dies will work. Has anyone experience and advice with using hose and fittings other than the name Brand hose and fittings? The dozer has some parker and some no name hose on it. The local auto parts has a weatherhead machine but i notice the hose is not weatherhead. Advice appreciated, especially anyone who has knowledge of The parker crimpers. They have so many disclaimers in their guides and website i feel intimidated and wonder if there was some sort of problem with their hose products. Thanks.
