Chris, the 70ton rod out/50 ton rod in cyl with ears to attach the 3 links is the best one to use. Have you pulled any Cat sprockets before? There are a few things you should know before you start if you haven't. Email me if you like.

I didn't get it but I shot you one back to put in addressbook. It's a lot of work doing a rebearing but you can split the difference if you can't get the right tools. It's a bit trickey to do but once you get the track and frame off. Pull the outer holder off of the deadshaft, then you can unbolt the case from the tractor and get them to press off the sprocket install the inner seal and press it back on and tighten up the nut. You should change the hub bearings anyway. They take a lot of load especially the outer one. When you get the machine blocked up the track off and the frame out of the way I will tell you more.If you get the machine blocked up high enough the frame can be rolled up the track out of you way. Make sure the blocking is solid and stable.

If the weather clears up...I plan on starting on her this weekend....I was reading the service manual and I have a plan...we'll see how well it works. I'll let you know how it turns out..I'm sure it will make some interesting reading.

Read it over good and look at the drawings so you understand how it's put together and adjusted Chris. Then you will understand how to take it apart and why.
