I recently bought an International dozer from an estate sale and can't find out what it is for sure. It is a 6 cyl gas start diesel, manual trans ,hand clutch, reverser, and a 10' straight hydraulic blade. I have been told that it is a 1959 TD25 with a TD18 blade. The ID tag on the dash is missing. Can anyone help me out here? I also need info on why it won't switch to diesel. It will run all day on gas but as soon as you switch it it shuts down. I've bled out the fuel system and have plenty of fuel getting to the injector pump, but nothing comming out of the pump to the injectors. Please help me out here, this unit was supposed to be on the job a month ago but I can't get it to run. Thank you for any help you can offer. If anyone has a good injector pump that will work on this thing I would be willing to buy it. Thank you

Do you have any primary pump pressure (gauge on the side of the pump)? Fuel in tank? Tank shutoff turned on? Fuel filters plugged? With engine off, you should be able to get fuel to drain out of the drain cock on the aux. filter when opened. If so, then bleed air from top of filter and start engine on gas. You should then have fuel coming out under pressure when you open the bleed on the primary filter. After this, then crack open the injector bleeders and open throttle slightly, then you should have fuel at the injectors and it should run. E-mail me if you want more help. Brian

Also forgot to mention, if you have primary pump pressure and still can't get fuel to the injectors, take the side cover off the pump and make sure the internal linkage is moving when you move the outside throttle lever back and forth. The internal linkage often gets rusted and bound up if the unit has sat for a while. If so work it back and forth with penetrating oil to loosen it up. Brian

Hi, may be it's a TD20, 25 is direct start type. When the engine run on gas, open the throttle 1/2 to 3/4 and the system will be primed. May be the priming pump have a broken shaft. Bernard le mécano Québec Canada
