Blow out the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler with air pressure. You will find a wire screen in front of the hydraulic oil cooler. You need to remove that screen and then blow the coolers out.

I made a pipe with a butterfly valve and then drilled a small hole in a pipe plug and screwed it into the end of the pipe. The whole thing only cost a couple of bucks with the quick connect air fitting.

When it gets dusty out you will find you have to blow out the coolers at least every week and sometime twice a week.

Good Luck.

Check the foam around the outside of the radiator if it is missing replace it as it works loke a fan shroud to pull all the air thru the radiator for cooling. If it is bad or missing will run hot know of couple guys who bought machines cheap because of running hot and was all they had to do to fix them.

Skip, A friend of mine just had a similar problem with his Kobelco. He thought maybe the block was full of junk, or the water pump needed replacement. It turned out that the radiator was stopped up. Those little excavators, for some reason, tend to suck a lot of dirt through the radiator, and it stays there. You might try the little stuff first, such as cleaning the fins on the radiator, or trying a new thermostat. But I would have a good look at that radiator if it were mine. Good luck!
