Hi, I am seriously confused!!!! I have a Case 310 type and serial number unknown. From style I beleive it to be a later version- my problem is I am having steering problems and need to identify
the differental so I can get parts- manuals -etc.
I have a "G" parts manual and my differental does not match - does anyone know if Case ever used a spot turn differental and if so in what model types.I had posted a picture in the forum help identify section and one reply said it looked like an oliver - clarke . I am really just trying to find a starting point so I can get to work on this
Thanks ,Art

Many of the Case crawlers used the same transmission as the Cletrac HGs and OC3s - it was made by Clark. When Case bought the little Terratrac (with the Continental gas engine) they put their own engines in (gas or diesel) but retained the Clark three speed transaxle for years - up to the 310 I believe. The Case crawlers I've worked on have the same steering brake bands as the Cletrac Olivers.
