Have a D6C and ran it out of fuel. Ok refueled, changed filters, bled the lines and started the engine. Runs good but will not build up fuel pressure and after approximately 20 min will starve out for fuel. Had this happen before and after several time of restarting and running the fuel pressure came back up and pegged the needle but not this time! Have run it for several hours now on different days and still can not the fuel pressure back up so that the engine continures to operate a full power and continously. Now at beginning it starts and runs great with full power. I have checked the fuel flow to the injector pump and is fine plenty of fuel getting there and the filter is new . Any help or little tricks will be greatly appricated.

Best regards
Ossie

That's good Ossie, you likely cleaned the tank out into it when you got so low on fuel. There is a large plug in the fuel transfer pump that has the relief valve behind it. If the pressure gets low again take out the plunger and make sure there is no dirt under the seat of it as well. There is a sediment drain on your fuel tank too, run a bit of fuel out of it every month or so and that will help too.
